ELLA'S TRIUMPH

One summer day a few years ago Jan and I decided to take the kids swimming to a lake. I also brought my dog Ella and Jan brought her dog Lacey. I had always thought that my dog was very smart and talented until that day. Ella would not go in the water at first and as most people know she is obsessed with chasing sticks or anything you throw. So I threw a stick in the water and what we saw next was completely indescribable. Her attempts to swim were sad. She was trying to swim vertically or something like that. Jan got the biggest kick out of that. My dog the wonder dog could not swim and her dog was swimming everywhere and even catching fish. For the next few months, Jan let everyone know that my dog couldn't swim. Well I think she could, it was just the weirdest thing we have ever seen. Everyone says we should send the film to AFV. Anyway, that is how she has been swimming until now. We went to my dad's this weekend and finally a little triumph for Ella. Jan this is for you.
