More fun at Papa's

Erin got this new game. Mums had to choose something kinda like a dare. She let the girls put some make-up on her and had to wear it the rest of the game.

Lyssa had to hold her tongue for two turns. We had a great time at Papa and Mums. Thanks for all the fun and yummy food. We love you guys!

Santa and Rich surprised me with the best present! I am so excited to get this new bike, Andrea get ready we are going to add biking to our adventures.

Lyssa's school project

This is Lyssa's school project. She has to take care of this baby for the weekend. This isn't just any baby, this baby has a microchip that makes her breathe, giggle and my favorite cry. Lyss has to figure out what the baby needs every time she cries. She even has to support her head like a newborn or it will record abuse.

Midnight New Moon

Andrea and I took the girls to see New Moon at midnight. I think I liked it better than Twilight. We had a great time and I am now officially exhausted. Three hours sleep will do that to you.

Baby Sophia

Well after being sick for a month I am finally feeling better. So what was the first thing I was going to do... go see sweet little Sophia. What a sweetheart she is. I totally stole this picture from Katie's blog because I forgot my camera. Steve and Katie she is adorable!

Thriller

Yesterday Mums took us to go see Thriller. It is a dance show with zombies, vampires and crazy clowns. The girls really had a great time and of course Allyssa screamed.

Light the Night Walk

This is our team for the Light the Night walk for lymphoma. Our team raised $600 not bad for the Owen clan. Thanks Carla for getting us involved and thanks dad for walking with us. Thanks everyone for your donations!

Starlight

Here is our new little adventure.

Today was her first day being led around.

She liked it so much she didn't want to go back in her stall.
Erin has wanted a horse for so long. We have been telling her not until the house is done, but the opportunity came and we took the plunge. Erin bought her with her own money and gave her the name Starlight. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are ready for the challenge.

Peach Days

Saturday was Peach Days! We went to the parade and had a great time. I can't believe I did not get a picture of the army truck and jeeps Rich and Rob were driving, but I did get a few of everyone enjoying the parade and of course Erin took a pic of Darth Vader and Chewy. I think it was the longest parade I have ever seen. By-the-way thanks sister-in-laws, you guys had me laughing all day!

This past week

We have been very busy this past week. (Some good times some sad times) Anyway here are a few things we have done. Andrea, Allyssa, Kenzie and I ran The Box Elder County Fair 5k. We didn't win but we did take off six minutes of our time. Oh you will not be seeing pictures of Andrea and I, they are not pretty. Trust me!

The first day of school. Girls with attitute!

Andrea and I ran from her house to mine, it is a 6 mile run. I can't believe we did it! Now the big one comes this Saturday.

This weekend Rich had to work so the girls and I joined all my family in Heber. Papa and Mums took us to the dog show where we saw sheep herding and my personal favorite dock jumping dogs. I am thinking of entering Ella into this event, the only problem is someone might have to swim in after her since she can't swim.

This has been a really big week for Allyssa. Monday her braces came off and Tuesday she decided to cut off her long hair for a cute, fun cut. Doesn't she look awesome!

5k run

Well, the day I have been dreading finally came, running the 5k. Andrea, Kenzie, Lyss and I all did it. Andrea and I placed second and third in our age division. Ok, ok the age division was 36-49. Yes, we are in the old group. But we still beat Allyssa and Kenz to the finish line! It was fun and we are doing another in a few weeks. Anyone want to join us?

Half Blood Prince

Andrea, April and I took our families to the midnight show of Harry Potter Last night. All I can say is you better go!

10 years old!

Wow! Where does the time go? I can't believe Erin is 10. I feel so lucky to be her mom. She makes us laugh everyday and always has something to say about everything.

I did it!

This weekend we went to my dads to play. When we got there Carla was getting ready to go ride bikes for the Moonlight Madness at Antelope Island. I decided to join her for a little challenge. This picture was taken at the halfway point after riding 11 miles. We rode a total of 22 miles, it was soooo hard and soooo much fun! And guess what I am not even sore! Thanks for letting me come Carla, I had a blast.

Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day! I think my girls are pretty lucky to have such a great dad. I know I am to have him as a husband. I want to wish a happy fathers day to Rich, to my dad who is the best Papa around, to Crabpa who is a awesome grandpa and to Gary, we love and miss you!

If you want to see the animals up and moving you need to go on a cooler day. It was amazing to see them all playing around.

Because of the rain we didn't get to do much outside at Snowbird, but rain or shine the girls were our swimming.
