Bike ride/swimming field trip

Today was the day Erin has been losing sleep over. She has been practicing getting ready to ride her bike from school to Crystal Springs. I decided I better go with her just in case she needed me. Well I was definitely not needed. She did great and was in front of me most of the time.

I finally caught up to her here when the front of the pack stopped to wait for the last of us. I don't look like I was having fun in this pic, but it was so much fun!

Erin's friend Corey kept a close eye on her and stayed with her the whole time.

We finally made it to Crystal Springs.
The weather was nice, but 10 degrees warmer would have made it perfect.

This is Erin's BFF coming out of the water slide. I took one of Erin, but you don't see her just the splash she made.

Today was such a great day and I am so glad I was there to spend the day with Erin on her last Elementary field trip!

Bees Game

Andrea and I went with the 5th grade to the Bees game today.

Ty and Erin had a great time and ate more candy than I want to think about.

The weather was great. We were prepared for rain, but didn't see any.

It is so much fun having Ty and Erin in the same grade and school.
Thanks, Andrea for coming with. I am looking forward to our summer adventures!

Pentathlon

Friday was the 5th grade pentathlon. They had five events and tons of fun.

Erin wasn't sure about this whole thing, but in the end loved it and did a great job too.
When I went looking for Ty my camera failed me again, so no pics. But, I did get to see him throw the shot put, he has quite the arm on him!

Lyssa's choir concert

Last night Lyssa had her Arioso class concert. It was really nice, they sang some songs from Tangled and Lyss was able to sing a solo. Wow! does she have a great voice. I wish I had it on video, but my camera was dead, I had to take this picture of her with my phone. Maybe I can talk her into singing for me and I will tape it. Good job Lyss, you did an amazing job!

My poor puppy

Here we see Ella in her usual fashion. Chasing after balls and sticks.

Ella has a problem, she can't ever stop chasing a ball no matter what is in front of her. Yesterday, a Barbwire fence was in front of her. Today she spent the day with Cody our Veterinarian. They had to stitch and staple her chest while she was asleep. She is limping too.

 Here she is dreaming of being outside once again, but will be staying inside for quite some time. We always know when she doesn't feel good, the tail stops wagging.
Poor, dumb puppy!
