Saturday Rich and I and the kids went to the Ogden airport to watch Rob take a ride in this B-17. Rich and Rob were like kids in a candy store.
While we were there they were offering plane rides to kids ages 8-17. It is part of their Young Eagles Program. Allyssa decided she wanted to take a ride. So we signed her up. Here she before taking off.
Here is her plane headed toward the runway. She was up in the air for about 30 minutes.
This is the plane and the pilot. He built the plane himself. When she came back she had the biggest smile on her face. She said it was pretty amazing. We are very proud of her for trying something new. What a fun day!

That is way neat! I am really surprised that Allyssa would go on a airplane ride but not some rides at Disneyland! haha Glad you had fun!
What a neat experience for Allyssa!!! I bet that it is one memory she will never forget.
